At Alvord-Taylor, we work with people to help them feel comfortable and at-ease in their homes – whether it’s in one of the homes we manage or in an apartment. Those we serve need assistance, and we provide that through 24-hour support or supported living. We always take care to respect and accommodate each person’s lifestyle.
Some people need round-the-clock support to meet their personal goals. Most live in a home with two roommates. We currently serve more than 40 people who live in residential neighborhoods in the Eugene/Springfield area. Employees at each home provide individualized training and support.
Some people live independently in apartments, yet need assistance and training with a variety of daily living tasks from managing personal health to accessing community resources and activities. They can always access our 24-hour emergency support network when something unexpected happens.
Living in the community
Our services allow people to learn, grow and contribute to their community. We tailor our support to meet each person’s needs, which may include:
- Healthcare and medication management
- Personal safety
