Get Paid to Train
Our extensive paid training program sets us apart from other similar agencies. All of our employees participate in paid training for 4 weeks at the beginning of their employment with us, and receive continuous training throughout their tenure. This training prepares you to work with those we serve and educates you on concepts for facilitating learning with the individuals we support and supporting them in living quality lives with the greatest amount of independence possible. We strive to help employees use their talents and encourage the acquisition of new skills.
New Employee Training Includes
60 hours of classroom instruction
Each new employee receives a minimum 60 hours of classroom instruction that includes these 4 certifications. In addition to training offered internally, Alvord-Taylor works with outside organizations to coordinate business education and training for professionals working with people with disabilities.
