Mary Thomas

Executive Director
Mary Thomas Started in the field in 2013 and has held several positions that include DSP, Program Manager, Area Supervisor, Program Administrator, Program Director, and Executive Director before coming to Alvord-Taylor as the Director of Support Services, and now serves as Executive Director.

Laurie Inglish

Human Resources Director
Laurie Inglish has over 30 years of experience in human resources, and has served in HR leadership roles within the manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and non-profit industries. She joined Alvord-Taylor in 2020 as the HR Generalist/HR Manager, and has served as the agency's HR Director since 2023 and oversees all HR, Training, Marketing, and Admin roles. Prior to joining Alvord-Taylor, she founded Inglish HR where she provided HR recruiting and consulting for clients in Utah and Oregon since 2012. Laurie's hands-on approach to her job and willingness to wear many hats, help make her a respected leader within Alvord-Taylor. When Laurie isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling.

Allison Misar

Director of Program Services
Allison has been working in the field for over 12 years. She began as a direct support professional and has worked in a variety of roles since, including Program Manager, Behavior Specialist, OIS Instructor and Quality Assurance Specialist. In her current role, Allison oversees the Program Directors, Behavior Department and Quality Assurance Department.

Union Leadership Team

At Alvord-Taylor we work with our union leadership to meet the needs of our staff. We have a collective bargaining unit that is represented by employees from within Alvord-Taylor. We discuss opportunities to improve on our agreement with the Union every two years to provide employees with economic security.
